Tuition costs

  • For all the students (local and international), public institutions in France offers free education apart from minor semester costs (€200 – €300). However, private institutions do charge an annual fee which usually ranges from €8,000 – €16,000 depending on your choice of program

Living costs

  • In France, generally monthly rent ranges from €300 – €600 depending on the city and type of accommodation. However, Paris is exceptionally expensive and monthly accommodation costs can even go as high as € It is common for students to live in subsidized student halls but due to high demand they are quite hard to get in.
  • All other costs for food, travel, leisure, etc. range from €300 – €600 depending on how you are spending. Here again, Paris can be quite expensive costing around €400 – €600.

Job Prospects

  • After graduation, students are entitled to a 1-year job search permit which can be converted to a work permit upon a successful job hunt and a willing sponsor.

Climate

  • Although the climate varies across the country, France has a temperate climate with mild winters and warm summers. The southern regions are generally warmer and drier than the northern regions. In France, the average temperature ranges from 8°C (46°F) in the winter to 25°C (77°F) in the summer.
